Some Things

Some things that have happened since we last talked.

1. Stella graduated from college! During the ceremony, her husband and I were way across the auditorium from each other, and we both took pictures of the crowd and found each other by zooming in and looking through everyone. Clearly parts of the ceremony were not exactly riveting.

2. I got a fabulous new color of nail polish. I've had my eye out for a great gray color, and I found one I love!

3. I've been working a lot at the library! We have a big meeting on Wednesday that I've been trying to get things ready for. It's really exciting this year because I've gotten to do most of the planning for the whole summer. I love it!

4. We had an impromptu movie night at Stella's house. You'll be so pleased when you hear what movie we watched - Never Say Never. Oh yes. The Justin Bieber movie. Stella and I had already seen it, but we talked Stella's husband and bro-in-law into watching it. And they liked it! True story. See how excited they were? We've all had Justin Bieber songs stuck in our heads for days now.

5. Amanda and I had some more quality Mad Men marathon time. During which she ate country fried steak on the couch like a hillbilly.

6. I got a ridiculous find at a garage sale. Someone had a Canon PowerShot camera for 5 bucks. I took the risk, and after I charged up the battery it worked just fine! I love my nice camera, but I always wish I had a little one to just throw in my purse. And now I do! Here is a picture I took while testing out the camera. Works like a charm!

7. I cleaned out some of the kitchen drawers. I might have a slight obsession with measuring cups.
